Since childhood I’ve had a passion of learning about the different cultures of the world. Now, this passion has grown into sharing my knowledge of the Balinese culture, which I am blessed to have grown up with.
​
Born into a Balinese family of priests & temple-keepers, I feel a desire & a responsibility to honor my lineage, while also bringing it forward in my own unique way.
As I have traveled to different places around the globe & witnessed their cultures, I not only see similarities between the different belief systems & ways of living, but also what we can learn from each other, and what wisdom is worth to be integrated.

Millions of people from all over the world visit the island of Gods each year, and some even decide to call it their home.
As someone who is well integrated in both societies, I have found a purpose in bringing East & West together, for a more harmonious co-living and to preserve the precious & unique wisdom of Bali.

Types of Offerings
• Art Of Offerings Workshop
Deep dive into the art of Balinese offerings. Explanation of the different types of offerings, as well as their ancient history, meaning & philosophy. The second part of the class is a hands- on experience on how to make Canang Sari, with Purnama’s aunt Ayu Parniasih and her cousin Cahaya Pratiwi.
• Balinese Wisdom Transmission & Ceremony
Connect with the rich cultural heritage of Bali in a sacred space where ancient wisdom meets heartfelt rituals. Guided by Purnama, this offering includes ceremonial practices and teachings inspired by Balinese traditions, inviting you to deepen your connection with the island's unique spirit and energy.
This is ideal especially for openings & asking for permission.
• Balinese Culture Talk
An extensive cultural discussion that speaks on the most important customs, indigenous philosophy & spirituality and offerings explained in a comprehensive way, with a lot of room to answer questions. The class is concluded with a traditional Balinese prayer and simple offerings.

• One Day Retreat with Purnama & other Balinese healers
This is for the ones who are ready to fully immerse the Balinese culture and experience it in a unique way. The day starts with a chat on what your desires & needs are, then go into a wisdom transmission, offering making with Purnama's family, temple visits, and can also include visiting specific Balinese healers. You will receive a full transmission also on mantras to accompany you for the rest of your life.
• Culture Talk & Walk
Balinese culture explained in Purnama’s native village, Bedulu. We start with a short Culture Talk, before visiting temples to give offerings and apply the teachings. Concluded with a visit to Purnama’s family compound & delicious food prepared by her aunt Ayu Parniasih (tailored to the needs & preferences of your group).

In my workshops & events, I explain the Balinese traditions in an understandable way to foreigners.
Through this, I also shed light on ancient indigenous wisdom & timeless philosophy of the island that can benefit and improve our lives immensely - rooted in gratitude and devotion!
I believe we can all learn from each other, and a balance between the worlds is necessary for us to rise into a prosperous future.

My mission is for every participant to go home feeling confident to visit temples or local festivities by themselves, and thus becoming part of the traditional life in Bali, no matter what background or religion.
The power of prayer is here to guide you on your path.
Whatever your beliefs are, you can always take a little time to close your eyes to withdraw from the outside world, to go deep within yourself, and to reflect on what is important to you right now and what makes you feel alive.
