An intimate relationship has the potential to show us our darkest shadows and most vulnerable sides.

They are sacred mirrors that reveal which parts of us need more loving and healing.

It is not an easy feat and sometimes we must be willing to go through the fire. But when we are courageous enough, we can find ourselves on the other side with a deeper ability to love and to understand each other.

My beloved Juan - I am so am grateful to walk through life with you and the shadows that you reveal to me. They help me to invite in more light and to evolve into a more compassionate human being.

I choose you today and through our dark times too.
